Quantum Skills
QT Indu

Quantum technologies are set to transform industries in the coming years, with applications ranging from simulations and optimization to high-precision sensing and secure encryption. To ensure that businesses can fully leverage this emerging technology, employees need targeted training and upskilling.

QTIndu is a collaborative European initiative, bringing together academic institutions and industry partners to develop specialized training programs. As part of the Quantum Skills program by the Stifterverband, QTIndu aims to:

  • Develop a pan-European short-term training program in quantum technology.
  • Offer industry-specific courses tailored to the needs of companies and SMEs.
  • Provide scalability guidelines to expand the work done in QTIndu across Europe.

As part of the QTIndu project, the Stifterverband is a member of the consortium conducting regular workshops with partner companies until 2025. These workshops aim to tailor training programs to the specific needs of businesses, allowing companies to pilot the courses during the development phase and contribute their own insights.

Join our QTIndu Lunch & Learn Sessions!

To promote our training programs and raise awareness of quantum technologies, we are launching a series of Lunch & Learn events – interactive, one-hour sessions that provide valuable insights into quantum technologies and their applications.

These monthly sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone, even those with little prior knowledge of quantum technology. The events will provide brief, engaging insights into key topics, offering an introduction to the world of quantum technologies without overwhelming the audience.

Rather than just presenting course content, these sessions will highlight exciting quantum applications, give attendees a sense of the broader potential of the field, and encourage open dialogue. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about how quantum technologies are already making an impact in different industries.

We invite all curious minds to join and get a taste of the future!

Upcoming sessions

Each session takes place on a Thursday 12:30 to 1:30 pm CE(S)T.

  • Building Quantum Capabilities: Talent and Strategic Readiness
    Presented by Aarhus University
    October 2nd, 2025
This session introduces key aspects of preparing for the quantum era, focusing on talent development and strategic readiness. It highlights two courses designed to address current challenges, opportunities, and industry use cases, helping organizations assess their positioning and the potential benefits of quantum technologies.

  • Quantum Computing – the Soft Way
    Presented by University Helsinki
    October 30th, 2025
A hands-on course for experimenting with quantum software. We’ll walk you through the course's unique approach – from understanding quantum states to writing and running real quantum circuits on currently available platforms.

  • Quantum Communication and the Quantum Network Explorer (QNE)
    Presented by University Delft
    November 6th, 2025
Overview of the fundamentals of quantum networks and their applications with QuTech's Quantum Network Explorer demonstrator

  • Basics, Myths and Communication
    Presented by TU Braunschweig
    November 27th, 2025
From zero to hero: Within QT Indu, TU Braunschweig created three courses, addressing different target groups and interests. We will give an overview of these courses, present their structures and guide you to find your course of interest. Let us have a look at the Basic Rules of Quantum Physics, find out more about Quantum Myths and deep dive into Quantum Communication!
