QTIndu Workshop

• What are the most important future developments in quantum technology? 
• How can companies prepare themselves and their specialists for these developments? 
• Which requirements do further education offers have to meet in order to support companies in this respect?

The Stifterverband and Quantum Valley Lower Saxony e.V. invited to discuss these questions in a diverse round within the framework of the project "Quantum Technology for Industry" (QTIndu). Concrete impulses for the further development of the project were to be worked out in a workshop. Above all, the questions of the right competencies, mediation formats and potential application scenarios were explained.

The QTIndu project is funded by the EU Commission and develops continuing education courses with a high online content for companies and employees from all over Europe. The offers are to be closely oriented to the needs of industry, which is why your input is particularly important.

Accordingly, the event was aimed in particular at people from technology, strategy and human resources development in all sectors who expect quantum technologies to play an important role in the coming years and are interested in qualifying their skilled workers accordingly.

During the project phase (until 2025), interested companies also have the opportunity to exclusively pilot the developed offerings. In this way, you can ensure that the final courses are designed according to your ideas and offer optimal benefits.

During the event, the IBM quantum computer could be visited and panel discussions were held to exchange views on current trends in quantum technology and "quantum didactics". There were opportunities for informal conversation and networking over lunch and dinner.
